Multidisciplinary research & innovation supporting global efforts to tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
Background
We are building an international community of researchers & innovators with the expertise to help tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and contribute towards the development of societal resilience to future such outbreaks. The COVID-19 Helix joins 22 other such international Open Innovation communities hosted here on the Crowdhelix collaboration platform.
We are seeking international experts to join the COVID-19 Helix who have a strong track record of research & innovation excellence in relevant areas such as:
- Virology
- Epidemiology
- Social Sciences & Humanities
- Behavioural Science
- Data Science
Academic Leadership
The COVID-19 Helix is led by Dr Björn Kull, Head of Grants Office at Karolinska Institutet, an internationally-renowned medical university that has already been awarded three important EU Horizon 2020 grants targeted at COVID-19 response & mitigation. Karolinska Institutet is an RTO Member of the Crowdhelix Network of institutions and companies, which collaborate internationally on European-funded research & innovation programmes.
A number of other university & research organisation members of the Network are kindly providing access to their networks of trusted collaborators across the globe in support of the Helix’s activities.
