As the top university in the field of economics and business in Czechia and highly rated internationally, we offer our expertise in the "Economic" part of the designated call.
As this call comprises two core halves, Social Services and their economic returns and added value, our institution offers solutions to the second half to contribute to: Economic and financial analyses, valuation, financial indicators, and social impact.
Additionally, we offer expertise in fields of cost-benefit analyses, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, social impact and impact entrepreneurship, organisational psychology and sociology, diversity, gender and inclusion in organisational dimension, ESG, economics and economic theories (Institutional economics), economic policy (macroeconomic approaches, monetary and fiscal policy), economic history, regional studies & regional planning (urban-rural relations, cohesion policy, rural development policy, digitalization), microeconomics theory, fiscal policies, tax policies, applied taxation (law).
The Prague University of Economics and Business / Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze (VSE) is the largest public university of economics in the Czech Republic, founded in 1953. It is the main scientific and educational authority in the fields of economics, management and business in the country. VSE has about 14,000 students in a broad spectrum of study fields in bachelor’s, master’s,
MBA and doctoral degree study programmes at its six faculties: Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of International Relations, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of Management located in Jindřichův Hradec.
International Rankings and Accreditations VSE ranks high in the Financial Times ranking and is considered one of the best “business schools” in Central and Eastern Europe by Eduniversal. The Faculty of Business Administration is EQUIS and AMBA accredited (AACSB approved and pending). Two programmes taught at the Faculty of International Relations are EFMD Accredited. Other accreditations involve EMOS, FIBAA, and ACCA.
