International Interdisciplinary Research Projects
The British Academy's "Knowledge Frontiers: International Interdisciplinary Research Projects" SSH focused programme is accepting proposals
The British Academy's Knowledge Frontiers programme invites UK-based early career researchers in humanities and social sciences to lead international interdisciplinary research projects. The aim is to foster innovative and problem-focused research that integrates relevant disciplines for maximum impact.
The purpose of each project will be to develop new international interdisciplinary research in the humanities and social sciences. Research may be problem-focused, creatively innovative and exploratory, and should bring together relevant disciplines in both the humanities and social sciences, where appropriate, for maximum impact/effect. The Academy requires all applications to fundamentally involve and integrate both the humanities and the social sciences.
Projects must involve both humanities and social sciences. Funding of up to £300,000 for 24 months is available, and collaborations with researchers in the USA, Japan, Switzerland, South Korea, India, Israel, and Canada are supported. Applications must be submitted by 1st November 2023.
