We offer expertise in prototyping and manufacturing precision livestock farming wearable systems like smart cattle collars which are battery less and employ solar and kinetic energy harvesting to run autonomously and transmit data via LoRa or other suitable communication technologies. We have some ideas for livestock-wildlife interaction technologies we would like to research and explore. Could lead technological work packages where possible innovative techniques for wildlife tracking and monitoring for livestock safety could be used.. We have contacts and collaborators with Finnish Natural sciences research institute, agropastoral farmers (island sheep farmers in Croatia), hunting associations, reindeer herding associations and University of Braunschweig Communications and networks department.
