Seeking collaborators for 2024 HE Mission Soil Calls

We are interested in two Mission Soil topics:
1) HORIZON-MISS-2024-SOIL-01-05: Soil health, pollinators and key ecosystem functions
We can contribute to the following activities of the call:
Develop and demonstrate soil remediation and mitigation practices to address the causes of arthropods/pollinators decline.
EDAFOTEC can contribute with the design and implementation of artificial soils that improve soil health and promote the growth of plant species suitable for pollinators. Our main NBS is artificial soil, which is made with organic and inorganic wastes combined by a specific formula that imitate natural soils and rehabilitates degraded soils.
2) HORIZON-MISS-2024-SOIL-01-06: Harnessing the multifunctional potential of soil biodiversity for healthy cropping systems
We can contribute to the following activities of the call:
•Develop and test site-specific management practices, solutions and tools that promote soil biodiversity, enhance soil health, stimulate plant growth, reduce chemical inputs to control soil borne plant diseases and root-feeding insects, and support ground nesting pollinators.
•Set up demonstration sites to test the proposed innovations promoting the benefits of soil biodiversity and healthy soils not only for growers and the agroecosystem but for the entire food chain.
