Seeking candidates for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroengineering/Computational Neuroscience at Politecnico di Milano

We are seeking a strong candidate with a Ph.D. (or graduating by September 2023) in Bioengineering, Computer Science, Physics, Computational Neuroscience, or equivalent to be hosted at the Neuroengineering and Medical Laboratory of Politecnico di Milano to work on neuroengineering and computational neuroscience topics. At Nearlab, we develop biologically realistic computational models of different brain areas using Spiking Neural Networks. We have specific expertise in modeling the cerebellum and thalamic nuclei and we have a network of collaborators working on other brain areas, such as the cortex, hippocampus, and basal ganglia. We also have experience on neurorobotics, embedding bioinspired architectures for controlling robots, both virtual and physical.
