Our research group focus on new technologies for preserving food and biomedical products, by exploiting the potential of supercritical fluids. By using supercritical carbon dioxide, we achieve important outcomes in preserving the products' physical structure, nutritional content, physicochemical properties, and sensory characteristics. This approach ensures the delivery of safe and high-quality products to consumers.
Currently, we are looking for joining a proposal on the HORIZON-CL6-2024-FARM2FORK-01-2. We can offer our expertise on pasteurization and drying with supercritical fluids as well as the possibility to exploit our recently developed patent for the pasteurization of packaged solid food (WO2019043442A1) that we think could be of interest for this call.
