We are interested in the TRANSCAN-3 transnational call (JTC 2023) “Translational research on cancer epigenetics”. The expected outcome of the call is to improve the efficacy of current detection, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of cancers, through the development of novel approaches based on a better understanding of cancer epigenetics.

We are a group of medicinal chemists at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Milan (https://iamc.unimi.it/) and we are looking for a consortium in which our experience in the design and synthesis of bioactive small molecules will be useful to the project. We would be delighted to offer our expertise in the development of targeted protein degraders (e.g., PROTACs) or photoswitchable anticancer drugs.
