Seeking to contribute to a project for upcoming "Multilevel governance in times of digital and climate transitions" call
Can act as:
A team of ambitious and innovative researchers at Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku (UTU) in Finland seeks to join a state-of-the-art consortium for a project under this call with a contribution idea. We have a topical and innovative project idea linked to the role of businesses as a part of multi-level governance in solving the tensions and enabling a democratic digital and climate transition in Europe. Our theoretical approach derives from the concepts of "opportunity belief" and "collective agency" among stakeholders at different levels in the face of grand challenges. While the call is not based on the field of economics and business administration though, we seek to contribute with out idea to a consortium led by experts in political science and multi-level governance.
UTU is a multidisciplinary and internationally competitive university dedicated to high-level scientific research (www.utu.fi). Within the current EU Framework Programme, Horizon Europe, UTU has so far secured over 30 projects. Turku School of Economics, in turn, has an internationally established reputation as a highly respected business school, conducting research of the highest quality and relevance (www.utu.fi/tse). Research conducted at TSE is focused on entrepreneurship, management control, foresight, networks in business, and economic policy and markets. Our team of researchers is positioned at the unit titled the Pan-European Institute, which has widely recognised expertise of scientific research on the geoeconomic as well as international business developments in the EU (www.utu.fi/pei). PEI also benefits from the wide experience of successfully coordinating international research projects, including ones with EU funding. Moreover, through the well-established networks within academia, business, and policymakers at different levels, PEI has excellent grounds to compile state-of-the-art research consortia as well as interactively disseminate project results.
We'll be happy to discuss our idea further. If you are looking for partners with strong track record on international research projects, experience of innovative and impactful research, and ambitious and productive attitude, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
