Project Proposal

The call HORIZON-MISS-2021-CLIMA-01-01 has been scheduled to close, so this opportunity is no longer current.

We are YONTEM, an SME from Izmir/Turkey. YONTEM is an innovative company specializing in IoT usage in mobile vehicles in the context of smarter and greener cities.

We can and would like to offer our expertise regarding developing green technologies for low carbon industries such as urban transportation. Our R&D projects are about monitoring environmental quality (air pollution, noise, smell etc.) data in cloud-based systems, healthy route algorithms, and driver performance.

We use IoT technology and software tools which are developed by us to transfer the data to the cloud-based systems to analyse and report the data. We use mobile vehicles which roam around the city providing live feed data on which part of the city is affected by which type of pollution (the ones which we measure). Moreover, we aim to show the specific areas and zones on a live map. Through this technology, greener routes can be recommended to the people who wish to drive from healthier routes. This technology allows local authorities to make better and healthier decisions more efficiently regarding climate change.

Furthermore, we are open to develop and demonstrate new technologies to adapt climate change for local authorities. We have already established contacts with municipalities. We provide technologies to municipalities to adapt climate change and let them to monitor their drivers’ performance in order to minimize carbon emissions. As explained above, we are experienced in working with local authorities, can take a role as technology developer, as multiplier for dissemination and exploitation in the project.
