Opportunity for the RAWMINA project

The EU-Latin America Partnership on Raw Materials is a project funded by the European Union (EU) to promote and intensify cooperation between the EU and seven Latin American partner countries along the value chains of minerals-based industries.

On the 28th of March, the EU-Latin America Partnership on Raw Materials will host a webinar on “Technological Innovation for Energy-Efficient and Low-Carbon Mining and Processing”.

This webinar will discuss EU approaches to sustainable development in mining, including the technologies EU companies use in production line processes. It will also showcase successful case studies of energy-efficient and low-carbon mining from Latin American companies and outline opportunities for EU-Latin American value chain integration and joint action.

The webinar will bring together EU and Latin American authorities, regional industry and business representatives, academia, geological surveys and other relevant entities and provide a forum to share experiences and best practices.
